Colin Hughes, Head of Customer Accounts ​

Colin is the Head of Customer Accounts at CMCS.

Colin has worked in Customer Accounts for CMCS for over 15 years. His experience has primarily been with customer relations and involvement with Disaster recovery exercises. This has led to frequent BAU support occasions also.

Over his time with CMCS, he has been involved with all support requests for what could be loosely called “Disasters”. This term is probably not relevant now as most support situations and requests are not actually that dramatic. He works with the team to help with any requirements to ensure postal communications are maintained and tested via DR exercises

“My principal aim is to achieve in our customer facing role. I would rather do everything possible to make a DR exercise successful and have a happy customer than find a stumbling block or reason for the exercise not to happen.

Away from work I am a big football fan and have a love of military history. Anybody that knows me also is aware that I like a holiday ! Travel has a big impact on my life.” ​
