Deborah Sorenson, Customer Account Manager ​

Deborah is a Customer Accounts Manager at CMCS.

Debbie joined CMCS in 2023, bringing with her over 12 years of experience as a Business Administrator in the Private Care Home sector. After witnessing the impact of the Covid pandemic, she decided it was time for a change and sought a new challenge in a different industry.

Her journey with CMCS began during a customer Invocation, where she worked in the inbound post section on the shop floor. Having always worked in an office environment, this was a completely new experience, but one she found refreshing and rewarding. The welcoming support of the team made the transition seamless and reinforced her decision to step into a new chapter of her career.

In 2024, Debbie was given the opportunity to take on the role of Customer Account Manager, where she now oversees several BAU (Business as Usual) and DR (Disaster Recovery) customer accounts. She is passionate about providing excellent service, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring smooth operations. With the support of a fantastic team, she is thriving in her role and continues to develop her expertise in customer account management.

“Outside of work, I am a married mum of 3 and have recently become a nanny, being a mum was great but being a nanny is just amazing, I’m totally smitten. 

I enjoy travelling and am off to Singapore and Bali this year, to say I can’t wait is an understatement.  I’m plucking up the courage to try the Mega Zip flying fox, which is a 1,480 ft zip line, 246 ft above ground level and at a speed of 37 mph it takes you across a jungle, a beach, and the sea, ending on a man-made island off Siloso Beach. Wow!! That’ll add another few grey hairs!!” ​
