Paul Purton, Compliance Manager
Paul is the Compliance manager at CMCS.
Paul and has been with the business since 2003. He first worked with CMCS as a customer and built up a good relationship with the management team before being asked to work at CMCS when the company he was working for decided to relocate.
Starting out as a machine operator and shift leader it became obvious that he was capable of much more and quickly got involved in other aspects of the business including Health and Safety, auditing and production planning amongst other things.
He has continued to show his ability to adapt and take on new things culminating in his present role as Compliance Manager where he is responsible for the various accreditation’s that CMCS hold including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 which also incorporates C&CCC standard 55 for cheque printing.
“ I take pride in my ability to adapt and take on new challenges. I feel learning new skills is essential to keep growing and developing and long may it continue at CMCS.
Away from work I am a golf club secretary and play off a handicap of 6. I have two children with my partner who I am very proud of. My daughter is doing extremely well at school and my son also plays golf with a handicap of 13 and is junior captain at his golf club so he might be a chip off the old block in years to come.”
